Nice to meet you!

Maine Food and Beverage Education Center is a nonprofit that supports small Maine food producers - farmers, fishermen, and makers - by connecting them with the public through storytelling, education, and hands-on experiences.

In a state where over 96% of farms are family-run and many producers earn less than $10,000 a year, we provide free marketing, outreach, and engagement to help them thrive.

Each year, we welcome thousands of visitors to our Wiscasset campus, where they learn where their food comes from, why it matters, and how to support a stronger local food system. You can be part of that impact by visiting our campus (Maine Tasting Center), taking a class taught by a Maine producer, making a donation or becoming a member!
