TEAM MEMBER

  • Part-time, seasonal (June - October)

  • 15-35 hours per week (flexible)

  • Some evenings and weekends required​

Team Members/Operations Assistants will work alongside the other members of our small team on a variety of tasks including tending bar, assisting with food preparation and service, supporting classes in the Learning Center and assisting with events. Ideal candidates will be 1.) comfortable interacting with and educating visitors; 2.) willing to transition between several different tasks over the course of a single shift; 3.) passionate about Maine food and drink and excited to talk about it!

KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Currently hiring for the 2022 summer season

  • Part-time, seasonal (June - October)

  • 25-35 hours per week

  • Some evenings and weekends required​

Kitchen Assistants will work in the Tasting Room’s kitchen preparing food orders, completing food prep tasks and preparing samples and tasting plates for classes. Ideal candidates will be 1.) comfortable and experienced working in a commercial or restaurant kitchen; 2.) familiar with Maine food handling and safety regulations; 3.) able to work both independently and collaboratively in the kitchen; 4.) passionate about Maine food!

These positions are a good fit for individuals who are passionate about Maine foods, have some experience in the kitchen and who want to be a part of Maine’s next great destination attraction!

TASTING ROOM MANAGER

Currently hiring for the 2022 summer season

  • Full-time, Seasonal (May 23 – November 4, 2022)

  • 40 hours per week

  • Some evenings and weekends required

The Tasting Room Manager will work alongside the Maine Tasting Center General Manager to ensure smooth operations of the Tasting Room and is crucial to the success of Maine Tasting Center during its second season. Ideal candidates will be 1.) comfortable managing a small team; 2.) flexible and willing to transition between several different tasks over the course of a day; 3.) organized and experienced in basic management duties including maintenance and execution of various schedules and monitoring/assigning routine tasks; 4.) passionate about Maine food and drink and excited to talk about it!

This position is a good fit for an outgoing and organized individual who is passionate about Maine food and drink and comfortable with both front-of-house and back-of-house management duties.
