Celebrate Maine's Food Culture

Each summer, Maine comes alive with a vibrant food festival scene that highlights its coastal and inland traditions. You'll find lobster feasts by the ocean and blueberries galore farther inland, with events ranging from intimate community gatherings to lively, multi-day affairs. Expect fresh‑from‑the‑sea seafood, homemade pies, farm‑to‑table bites, live music, artisan vendors, and that unmistakable small‑town hospitality. Whatever your cravings, there's a Maine food festival ready to delight your taste buds and warm your spirit.

Festival Spotlight

Every year, Maine has countless festivals, and we wanted to shine a spotlight on some rather notable ones that take place in the state!

Keep in mind that while these may be the festivals we've decided to highlight, there's many more that we haven't mentioned. Feel free to do some research and find a festival that speaks to you and your tastes!

Maine
Maple Sunday

Held every year on the fourth Sunday in March, this festival celebrates the start of sugaring season. On this day, nearly 100 sugarhouses offer activities, such as free samples, music, and live demonstrations of syrup production!
