The Tasting Room
Allergies & Special Diets
Food prepared in the Tasting Room may contain the following ingredients: milk, eggs, tree nuts, shellfish, fish, soy, wheat, sesame. If you have a food allergy, please notify the team member who takes your order - they will be able to work with you to select dishes that do not contain your identified allergen. That said, all Maine Tasting Center dishes are prepared in the same kitchen, which utilizes and keeps on premise all of the common allergens listed above, as well as less common allergens like sesame and corn.
If you follow a vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free diet, look for symbols on our menu that identify appropriate dishes. Dishes marked "Vegetarian" do not include meat or seafood but may include dairy, eggs or honey. Dishes marked "Vegan" do not include meat, seafood, dairy, eggs or honey. Dishes marked "Gluten-free" do not include wheat, barley, rye, or triticale. That said, we cannot guarentee that ingredients and prepared foods were produced in kitchens that do not also process wheat ingredients.
If you have any questions or concerns, speak to one of our staff members! They can help you choose suitable dishes, provide information about the ingredients in each of our dishes, and identify the ingredient and prepared food brands that we use in our kitchen.
Reservation & Group Policy
At this time, we do not accept reservations for the Tasting Room - all visits are on a walk-in basis. We have seating available for groups as large as 12, on a first-come first-served basis.
Outside Food & Drink Policy
Outside food and drink are not permitted in the Tasting Room, deck or gazebo. Additionally, alcoholic beverages (beer 4-packs, bottles of wine, etc) purchased in our retail shop may not be consumed anywhere on Maine Tasting Center property. Please order all food and drink for onsite consumption at the bar in the Tasting Room!
The Learning Center
Signing up for Classes
Please register for any classes you plan to participate in prior to your visit. Registration for each class closes the night before, to give us time to prepare the appropriate number of tastings and assemble supplies.
Accessibility & Inclusion
Maine Tasting Center strives to provide all visitors and employees with equal access to our spaces and services. We offer accessible parking spaces, ADA compliant walk paths and buildings and 4 accessible restrooms (3 in the Tasting Room and 1 in the Learning Center).
All of our restrooms are gender neutral and three of them are single-user (2 in the Tasting Room and 1 in the Learning Center).

Well-behaved dogs are very welcome at Maine Tasting Center and are permitted in all of our outdoor spaces (including the deck and gazebo). The Tasting Room deck offers a special entrance for pets and their owners, plenty of water bowls, and a convenient designated "relief area" complete with waste bags and a trash can.
Free parking is available to Maine Tasting Center patrons. We have two accessibile parking spaces, two dedicated bus parking spaces for groups, plenty of regular spaces, and access to overflow parking as needed.
Per current COVID safety guidelines from the State of Maine, all patrons are encouraged to wear masks while indoors and not seated at their tables.
