The Sausage Kitchen

The Sausage Kitchen is one of those community businesses that have been around for so long that people start to forget about its history! Originally called Maurice Bonneau’s Sausage Kitchen, the local meat enterprise was founded and operated by the Bonneau family for generations, with the store on Main St in Lisbon opening in 2008. Andre Bonneau sold the business and retired in 2020 and has since moved on to other unrelated matters, but thankfully locals Kerry & George Conroy-Morongell purchased the business and reopened the space in 2021 to carry on the tradition of great Maine-made sausages and more!

At The Sausage Kitchen, you can find a wide variety of delicious homemade sausages, all made in house as well as a diverse array of snacks, sauces, and other tasty pantry staples from local producers. We highly recommend you stop by and take some selfies on the wooden pig bench out front - plus, the whole place smells delicious!
