Moderation Brewing Co.

Inspired by pre-prohibition Maine’s community breweries and watering holes, Moderation Brewing Co. strives to provide the town of Brunswick’s Maine Street community with a modern-day meetinghouse, paired with a refreshing, craft beer of course!

Founded in 2018 by Mattie Daughtry and Philip Welsh, both brewers have several years of brewing experience under their belts as well as a passion for utilizing local ingredients and unusual yeasts in their beer. So what can you expect from a visit to Moderation? Inside, you’ll find a cozy taproom, well-stocked with board games, unique-tasting beers flavored with local ingredients, and, if you’re lucky, a variety of Maine-made cheeses to accompany your beers and board games!
