Jeff Mao is a real renaissance man - a veteran teacher, magician of all things dough, and tireless workhorse always pushing to turn his passion for education and baking into something unforgettable! Originally an education technologist, Jeff had a lifelong love and fascination for food and cooking, particularly dough-based products! He founded Knead & Nosh, a unique dough and education studio, with the explicit purpose of sharing his knowledge and skills with the local Midcoast Maine community. Through K&N, Jeff teaches classes and workshops about everything from his signature award-winning bagels to traditional Chinese treats like bao and hotpot, writes recipes and blogs, and provides delicious dough-based treats to farmers’ markets all across the midcoast!
