Baxter Brewing Co.
Brewed for the Bold, Canned for the Adventure.

Located in the historic Bates Mill in the town of Lewiston, Baxter Brewing Co. works hard to both represent their local community and provide high quality beer for any occasion. Baxter’s claim to fame is that they were the first brewery in all of New England to exclusively package their beers in eco-friendly cans! Originally founded by Luke Livingston, the idea for Baxter was originally born where a lot of Maine’s best craft beer stories are: in a college dorm room! Having been given a brewing kit for his 21st birthday, Livingston became hooked on making craft beer and nothing could stop him; not even his RA confiscating his equipment! Livingston would go on to found Baxter Brewing Co. in 2011 with a commitment to making beer that reflects the spirit of Maine, characterized by hard work, grit, and boldness.
Now serving as the Lewiston-Auburn area’s only craft brewery, you can find all sorts of fun things to do on a visit to Baxter. High quality service, trivia nights, tasting events, excellent brewpub food, and of course, great Maine-made beer that you can take home with you! We highly recommend paying Baxter Brewing Co. a visit, checking out their blog on their website at https://baxterbrewing.com/news/, and giving them a follow on their accounts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
