Say Cheese! Eat, drink, bid, vote on the 'People’s Choice' cheese awards and make a difference!
Join us for our first annual Maine Cheese “People’s Choice Awards” and fundraiser benefiting Maine Food & Beverage Education Center. It will be a wonderful night of Maine food, drink, art, and special creative performance, along with a live auction of unique experiences. Join special guest judges John Stirratt of Wilco, Vanessa Santarelli of Maine Life and others as we launch the first ever People's Choice Awards for the Maine Cheese Awards.

Sample Maine cheese from all across the state, and sip wine from Cellar Door, cider from Absolem, and beer from Allagash.

Maine Cheese Awards
Maine Tasting Center and Maine Food and Beverage Education Center are proud to facilitate the Maine Cheese Awards on behalf of the Maine Cheese Guild!
The 2024 Maine Cheese Awards marks the third annual celebration of Maine’s finest cheesemakers. Open to licensed Maine creameries using Maine milk, the competition welcomes participants to submit their best cheeses across various categories. Peer and expert judges evaluate the cheeses anonymously, rating them on appearance, texture, consistency, and taste. The winners in each category - including the new "People's Choice" category - are announced at the Maine Cheese Festival in Pittsfield, taking place this year on September 8th, 2024.
