The Art of Preparing Fiddleheads
Bright green, nutty, and full of spring flavor - fiddleheads are a seasonal treat worth learning to cook! In this fun, hands-on class, you’ll learn how to clean, prepare, and cook fiddleheads so they’re both safe and delicious.
We’ll start by covering how to choose the freshest fiddleheads at the market and the simple steps needed to clean them properly. Then you’ll get cooking, trying out a few favorite recipes like lemon-butter fiddleheads, Old Yankee Fiddlehead Fern soup, and Fiddlehead Quiche.
Come hungry and curious - you’ll taste your creations, pick up new kitchen skills, and head home ready to bring a bit of spring to your own table.
