Maine Mead, Maine Honey: A Tasting
Maine mead makers produce a wide range of styles, from light and dry to rich and aromatic - it's not all sweet, but some of it is! In this class, attendees will enjoy a guided tasting of Maine meads, exploring how different honey sources and fermentation choices shape flavor and aroma. The class will also include a honey tasting led by a local producer, highlighting how what bees forage on influences the character of both the honey and the meads made from it.
This class is held in our Learning Center and is taught by Lynda Gaines, a WSET Level 3 certified "wine enthusiast". The price of your ticket includes a full pour of one of your top-rated wines from the class in the Tasting Room immediately following the class.
Due to the nature of this class, all attendees must be ages 21+
