Kelp & Crafts: Aquaculture Paint Night

Join us for a deep dive into one of Maine's most exciting and fastest-growing industries — seaweed!

Start by exploring the wide world of Maine seaweed with Bree George from Ecosynque, as she details the incredible diversity of species found along our coastline and the booming industry built around them; from ocean farms to wild harvesters, Maine is a leader in this industry. Bring your questions…she's got the answers!

After an hour of learning with Bree, head over to the Tasting Room for a complimentary drink and a one-of-a-kind craft experience: seaweed gel printing! Using real Maine seaweed as your medium, you'll create a beautiful, nature-inspired print to take home. No experience required! Each attendee will leave with their own original work of art, made with the very seaweed we spent the evening celebrating.

If you'd like, bring your own apron or paint smock - all other supplies will be provided.

Your ticket includes access to the program, the printmaking activity, and a drink from the bar (beer, wine, cider, mead or soda). Additional food, drinks and cocktails will be available for purchase!
