Fighting Food Waste: Research on Feeding Food Waste to Hogs and Laying Hens

In the United States, 30-40% of the food supply is wasted. What if farms could turn that waste into a resource instead of a problem? Noah Arbuckle, a high school senior, is the son of John and Holly Arbuckle, the farmers behind Singing Pastures, a ninth-generation regenerative farm in Newcastle, Maine. The Arbuckles are known for raising livestock on pasture using regenerative practices that restore soil health, support biodiversity, and produce nourishing food.
